Quick reference guide for setting up and using the GHL ↔ Telnyx Bridge

⚠️ Critical: Configure Telnyx Webhook

This step is required for inbound messages to work. Without configuring the webhook in Telnyx, messages sent to your Telnyx number won't be forwarded to GoHighLevel.

Steps:

  1. Go to Telnyx Dashboard → Messaging → Messaging Profiles
  2. Select your messaging profile
  3. Click the "Inbound" tab
  4. Set Webhook URL to:
https://bridge.scaleautomatically.com/api/telnyx/inbound

Complete Setup Guide

    Sign up and connect your GoHighLevel location

    Create an account, then connect your GHL location via OAuth

  2. 2.
    Configure Telnyx Webhook (Required)

    Critical: Go to Telnyx Dashboard → Messaging → Messaging Profiles → Select your profile → Inbound tab

    Webhook URL: https://bridge.scaleautomatically.com/api/telnyx/inbound

    This is required for inbound messages to work. Without this, you won't receive SMS messages in GHL.

    Configure your Telnyx settings

    Add your messaging profile ID and phone number mappings in Settings

  4. 4.
    Complete A2P 10DLC registration (US only)

    Required for sending SMS to US numbers. Go to Telnyx Dashboard → Regulatory → A2P 10DLC

Common Issues

Inbound messages not appearing in GHL?

Check that Telnyx webhook is configured. Go to Telnyx Dashboard → Messaging Profiles → Inbound tab and verify the webhook URL is set.

Messages not sending?

For US numbers: Check A2P 10DLC registration status in Telnyx dashboard. For international: Verify number mappings are configured in Settings and numbers are in E.164 format.

Account not found?

Complete the OAuth flow to connect your account. Make sure you're logged in before connecting GHL.

No number mapping?

Add a phone number mapping in Settings page. The Telnyx number must be associated with your messaging profile.

Important: A2P 10DLC Registration (US Only)

For US messaging, A2P 10DLC registration is required. Go to Telnyx Dashboard → Regulatory → A2P 10DLC to register your brand and campaign. This process can take 1-3 business days.
Note: International numbers (outside US) do not require A2P 10DLC registration.
